Project Polaris, the codename for the next mainline Witcher game, is officially in active development. With Geralt's story concluded, CD Projekt Red is preparing to launch a brand new saga in the Witcher universe.

The School of the Lynx

The only official teaser image released so far features a Witcher medallion resting in the snow. Fans quickly deduced that it resembles a Lynx rather than Geralt's iconic Wolf. Developers later confirmed that the School of the Lynx is a brand new Witcher school created specifically for this upcoming trilogy.

Who is the Protagonist?

While unconfirmed, the prevailing theory is that players will create their own custom Witcher. This would allow for greater RPG flexibility and dialogue choices, moving away from a pre-defined character like Geralt.
